Studies have shown that chess increases brain function, improves memory, cognitive abilities, strategic thinking, and attention improvement. Even though it seems like just a board game, chess is one of hardest and is one of the most helpful sport played in the world.

Experience
Chess is one of the only games so special that you can play at any age. From this coaching you will be able to join teams and clubs in your area which will lead to new bonds and friendships that will last forever. To start your chess career you will need to register in USCF the United States Chess Federation. Here you will get your rating and be eligible to play in tournaments.

My Chess JOURNEY

I have been a chess enthusiast since the age of 6, playing my first chess game when I was in kindergarten.  I have played 150 chess tournaments in the last 11 years comprising regional, state and national tournaments. Some of my highlighting games and achievements:

  • 2013:  I won 25 Regular and Quick Dual Rated games
  • 2016:  I won 50 Regular and Quick Dual Rated games
  • 2017:  I won 100 Regular and Quick Dual Rated games
  • 2017:  I won the 4th category title
  • 2019:  I won 250 Regular and Quick Dual Rated games
  • 2019:  I won the 3rd category title
  • I currently hold the USCF regular rating of 1689  and aspire to get 2000+ rating
  • Along with playing individually, I am also a vice president of my school team and active coach at Shoreview chess
